Our story
How the workshop started
From a young age, I was drawn to building things and loved the satisfaction of watching something made with my own hands come together. As I grew older, that desire developed into a love of problem-solving and a deeper appreciation for the process of creating something that could serve a purpose—not only for me, but for others as well.
Around the time my wife and I got married in 2016, those interests naturally grew into a passion for woodworking. Since then, we have been blessed with two wonderful children, and we hope to pass on to them that same curiosity, creativity, and joy of making things. This small business has been a shared dream of ours for many years, and we hope you enjoy each piece as much as we enjoy thoughtfully creating it for you.

Why Rooted Branch
The name comes from the words of Jesus
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit."John 15:5
As a company, this name is a declaration of where we seek to remain rooted. It reminds us that our strength, creativity, and ability to serve others do not come from us alone, but from staying connected to the One True Vine. That belief shapes how we approach our work—with gratitude, humility, care, and purpose.
Rooted
The word "Rooted" speaks to being firmly grounded in faith, stability, and tradition, much like wood itself — strong, enduring, and beautiful in its natural form.
Branch
"Branch" reminds us that we exist to grow, to create, and to bear fruit, both in the work of our hands and in the way we serve others.
Rooted Branch Workshop is more than a brand name or description of the things we make; it expresses the foundation from which we hope to work and serve. Whether we are creating furniture, toys, décor, or build plans, our goal is to do our work with care and integrity, to serve others well, and to remain grateful to the One who makes that work possible.
