Returns
Contact us before sending or bringing anything back. Eligibility depends on whether the item was standard, personalized or customized, or digital when purchased—not whether it was made before or after the order.
Personalized and customized items
Personalized or customized physical items are final sale unless they arrive defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially nonconforming. Contact Rooted Branch within 7 days of carrier delivery or local pickup if there is an arrival issue. If the claim is approved, Rooted Branch will provide or pay for return shipping.
Standard physical items
Standard physical items may be returned when Rooted Branch is contacted within 14 days of carrier delivery or local pickup, whether the purchased unit came from ready-made stock or was made after purchase. The item must be unused, undamaged, and in resellable condition, and the return must be approved before it is sent back. Original shipping charges are not refunded, and the customer is responsible for return shipping. Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected.
Arrival issues
An arrival issue includes a defect, carrier damage present on arrival, or an incorrect or materially nonconforming item. Include the order or project number, a clear description, and photos of the item and packaging. An approved issue may be resolved by refund, repair, or replacement. If the entire order or project is unwound, original outbound shipping is refunded; for a partial affected-item refund, outbound shipping is unchanged unless an exception applies.
Digital downloads
Digital items are non-refundable. If a purchased file is missing, inaccessible, corrupt, or incorrect, contact Rooted Branch Workshop so the delivery problem can be investigated.
Before returning anything
Do not send or bring back an item until the return is approved and instructions are provided. A refund does not mean an item has been received or placed back into inventory. These rules do not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
